In the 2010, two accreditation agencies for teacher training programs (NCATE and TEAC) joined together to form what is now known as CAEP, Council for the Accreditation of educator preparation. Thus, the programs of preparation of teachers that were already accredited by NCATE, as is the case of ours, now become part of CAEP.
